As you can see Jesus not only Lord and has glory but He is the Lord of glory. Let’s read few
more verse (James, chapter 2-1: My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Lord of glory, with respect of persons).
Romans, chapter 9-5 Wًhose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ
came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
In the Old Testament God said that He is the only Savior and Redeemer as you can see in these
verses:
Hosea, chapter 13-4: Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know
no god but me: for there is no Savior beside me.
Isaiah, chapter 45-21: Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who
hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD?
And there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me.
Isaiah, chapter 49-26: And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they
shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the
LORD am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
All these verses shows clearly that God is the only Savior and Redeemer, let’s see how Christ He
is our Savior and Redeemer.
John, chapter 12-47: And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I
came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
2 Peter, chapter 3-18: But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Jude, chapter 1-25: To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and
power, both now and ever. Amen.
Titus, chapter 2-14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and
purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Galatians, chapter 3-13: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Another attribute of God is as Creator; no one can be creator except God as said in the Old
Testament
Geneses Chapter 1- verse 1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the
earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit
of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Hebrews, chapter 1 ver 2-3 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath
appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his
glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power,
when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
In John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him (by Christ); and
without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life…
Here, the apostle presents one of Christ attributes, Christ the Creator since He is the Logos,
(the wisdom and the Brain of God) He is the one who creates.
And the brain of God and God is the same and God and his Spirit is one then (God the Father,
God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is one and the same).
See what Isaiah said about Christ:
Isaiah 9:6 for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon
his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Consoler, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
As you can see he gives Him these names and these names are belong to God
Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory (pg.2)
