Food Pantry and Fellowship
From 8am-10am we will be volunteering at the Food Pantry located at the Church of the Resurrection in Castro Valley. Following that, we will have a group outing consisting of either bowling or mini golf!

About the event
As Orthodox Christians, it's important for us to demonstrate love and generosity to those in need. Jesus Christ spoke of feeding the poor and this is a great opportunity for us to show compassion to the less fortunate. The Church of the Resurrection has a Food Pantry where they partner with the Alameda County Community Food Bank to feed the hungry, and we will be participating on October 23rd. The event starts at 8am and will likely end around 10am. Following this event, we will have a fun outing with our youth and young adults to either go bowling or go mini-golfing. We would appreciate that you RSVP to this event so that we can get an accurate head count for both parts of this event!
